RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS
Step I – Keyword Research
The research and analysis phase begins with keyword research. SMN Solutions Group will work to generate keyword phrases (consisting of two to four words) that will be used throughout the SEO campaign. SMN Solutions Group will determine which keywords are relevant to the site and begin a marketing assessment. The final selection will be three main keyword phrases. The final keywords selected will be guided by which products/services you want to promote, and will give you the best ROI, combined with our analysis of traffic levels and current number of search results for keywords related to your site.
Step II – Competitive Analysis
Once keywords have been targeted, SMN Solutions Group will perform a competitive analysis of the top 3 competitors for your highest priority keyword phrase(s). This will include an analysis of both your competitors’ on-page optimization and incoming links. This will help develop a rough estimate of the amount of incoming links required to be competitive, and provide additional insight for on-page optimization.
Step III – On-Page Analysis
SMN Solutions Group will analyze your website to determine design flaws and factors within the site that can have a potential negative impact on any SEO effort. This includes a W3C compliance check and a full layout and design analysis.
Step IV – Current Status Check
SMN Solutions Group will provide an initial search engine ranking report to check the website’s initial position for the targeted keywords within the top 3 search engines. Additionally we will also check the website’s current incoming links in both Google and Yahoo Site Explorer.
